Sally Todd is the Playboy Playmate for February 1957.
Sally Todd began modeling in 1952 when her mother encouraged her to enter a local Tucson beauty contest. She also studied drama in her hometown. Sally wanted to vacation in Canada but had only enough money to take her as far as Hollywood in 1954. She took a job modeling teenage clothes and was spotted by a talent scout for 20th Century Fox. The studio contracted her and she starred in mostly B-movie roles such as The Unearthly and Frankenstein’s Daughter. Sally also appeared in several tv shows between 1958 and 1960.
In June 1956, Playboy ran a picture story about a girl on a date in Las Vegas. The girl, Sally Todd, was an exceptionally fetching citizen and she kept returning to our editorial mind long after the issue had passed into the sturdy cordoba binder on our desk. Sally was so very charming on that date, thought we, how still more charming it might have been if we had arrived for that date a few minutes earlier. It was such an interesting idea that we decided to do just that on a different date night and lo, a fetching Miss February. See more inside Playboy!
